Mapúa University launched the Mapua School of Medicine (SoM), the newest medical school in the country, in collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU), the #1 school in the United States for innovation for the tenth straight year ranked by U.S. News and World Report 2016-2025.
Mapúa is the flagship university of iPeople, Inc., the education joint venture between majority owner House of Investments (the listed holding company of the Yuchengco Group of Companies)and Ayala Corporation, whose goal is to make world class education accessible to as many Filipino students as possible.
Mapua SOM aims to provide cutting-edge healthcare education that equips future medical professionals with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to improve health outcomes, positively impact society, and excel in the rapidly evolving 21st century healthcare landscape.

The Medicine Program is grounded on five features:

Alongside ASU, key partnerships across the local healthcare landscape help shape the Mapúa University School of Medicine’s student experience. De Los Santos Medical Center (DLSMC) in Quezon City serves as the university’s official base hospital. It provides essential clinical training, state-of-the-art facilities, mentorship, and research.
