The Asus ZenBook 14 UX 425 is a great laptop with a solid all-metal build, a refined thin and light design and complete I/O ports, a great keyboard and useful touchpad, and fantastic battery life.
Design
Let’s then talk about the design. This laptop comes with the iconic ZenBook design with a spun-metal body, iconic concentric circle design on the lid, and overall thin body. What I’ve got is the Lilac Mist, and it’s also available in Pine Gray. This gorgeous shades are a perfect match for elegant and modern design of the ZenBook 14.
At just 13.9mm thin and 1.3kg ultra-light makes the ZenBook 14 an ideal laptop for productivity, wherever you are. It’s a solid laptop and this time around – it weighs for only 1.3kg.
The ZenBook 14 UX425 also features an ErgoLift hinge design which lifts the laptop at an angle to allow for both extra airflow beneath the laptop to help keep it cool as well as a better angle for users to type in.
Opening up the lid, we were presented with a beautiful 14-inch matte screen with 1080p in resolution. It’s using an IPS LCD panel with the usual 16:9 aspect ratio. The ZenBook 14 has a bright and clear 4-sided NanoEdge Display, with 90% screen-to-body ratio for immersive experience when watching movies, viewing photos, or even just general productivity.
Connectivity:
For connectivity, it has the Latest WiFi 6 which is the next generation standard in wireless network, and provides up to 3x the network speed. This is also the reason why ZenBook 14 UX425 is a perfect companion for working online and enjoy more faster,stable connection. There’s also USB-C charging and Thunderbolt 3. Here are all the ports that is has:

However, one thing I noticed is that there’s no 3.5mm jack but since we’re in the era that bluetooth is already a thing. I tried using my bluetooth earphones and got no problems in connecting it, it’s fast and smooth.
Performance:
The ZenBook 14 features the 10th generation Intel Core I5 Processor which makes light work of any multitasking and productivity work. It also features Ultra-Fast SSDs for fast file transfers and lag-free performance.
The laptop also has Bluetooth 5.0 functionality for improved. The ZenBook 14, along with all recent ASUS laptop models includes the latest version of MyASUS, which is an exclusive software that offers all ASUS apps at one single place. You can change settings, seek help from chat support and even extend your warranty. You can even use it to pair your IOS or Android devices to your laptop for more seamless connectivity.
Keyboard and TouchPad
The Keyboard has large keys with plenty of spacing, ample travel, and a light mechanism that still provides a clicky, precise feel.
The ZenBook 14 also features the exclusive NumberPad 2.0 which is a dual-function TouchPad with an integrated led-illuminated numeric keypad. This makes it easier to use for any number crunching you need to do since you no longer need to use the top row of number keys on the laptop keyboard. You can also use the TouchPad as a regular pointer and slide it to instantly have an access for the calculator. You can turn the NumberPad on and off simply enough by touching and briefly holding an icon on the upper right of the touchpad and change its brightness by touching and holding an icon on the upper left.
Battery life
The ZenBook 14 has an amazing battery life that can last for up to 22 hours, so you no longer need to worry about running out of power even withou bringing your charger. This also has USB-C Easy Charge Feature in which you can use any USB-C charger and be good to go, at all times.
The ZenBook 14 is an all-day performer for both productivity and entertainment. You can expect to get a full day’s work in and have plenty of battery life left over for some Netflix bingeing that evening.
Should you buy the ASUS ZenBook 14 UX425?
Definitely yes! The ZenBook 14 UX 425 has a thinner and lighter laptop with an amazing battery life, the screen is great, it has complete I/O ports, keyboard is excellent, and the trackpad is just exemplary. In a nutshell, it’s one fine ultraportable laptop. Stylish, elegant, and portable are perhaps the three words that best describe ASUS ZenBook 14 UX 425.
