Before my wedding last March 2, I am already doing the korean skin care routine. However, one thing that always made me loose confidence is that I have double chin. Some says that it’s not prominent but for me it is. After all, only you can see your flaws right. I am guilty of eating fast food and also following the facial exercise to minimize it. My double chin has been my first reason why I am not confident in selfies.

What is Contour V?
Contour V is an advance technology that utilizes the combination of Ultrasound (ULS) and Radiofrequency (RF) for safe and effective fat reduction and contouring of both the face and the body.
The first step is the facial cleansing with massage. This is the time to remove all the makeup or dirt on my face. I am actually prepared because I didn’t put any makeup on, I just applied moisturizer and sunblock.
How does it work?
The unique combination of the Hot Mode (Compression Waves) and the Cold Mode (Shear Waves) causes fat redution. These two types of Ultrasound technology works in different ways. The Hot Mode causes an increase in temperature on the fat cells to weaken its membrane while the Cold Mode penetrates on the membrane to individually target the fat cells causing deformation and fat disruption. The disrupted fat cells are then transported to the blood stream and will be flushed out by the body through lymphatic system.
How does it help to achieve a contoured face and body?
Contour Face and Body also uses high energy Unipolar RF (Radiofrequency) handpiece. This provides deep heating and mechanical stimulation on the destroyed fat cells to speed up the release of the fat component (Triglyceride and Free Fatty Acids). The dermal heating also causes stimulation of collagen fiber formation to achieve tighter and firmer skin.
How safe is the treatment?
The machine is proven safe to target only the fat cells without harming the surrounding tissue.
How long it will take for each session?
The treatment only takes around 30-35 minutes. Specific area is treated at a given time to efficiently deliver enough amount of energy coming from both the Ultrasound and RF handpiece to achieve optimal result. Insufficient application of energy to the treated area will only give inadequate effect while prolonged application will not hasten the result.
Do I see Immediate result after one treatment?
Yes. Contour treatment for face and body delivers a visible result even after one treatment.
How many treatments do I need?
The number of treatments needed to achieve maximum and permanent result will depend on each person and is best determined by the Clinical Specialist.
It’s not the first time that I had my face contour but the good thing about having it at SvelT-i, for the face it has the combination of hot and cold. I never had any difficulties in enduring the hot mode of the machine. For the body contour, it felt like I am doing sit ups continuously for 30 minutes.
