LG took over the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater in Taguig for a day of exciting activities, cool innovations, and, of course, plenty of ice! The main attraction? LG’s latest refrigerator lineup, featuring the Auto Ice Maker, which guarantees you’ll always have ice ready for your next get-together.
The day kicked off with an exclusive program for the media, where Mr. Nakhyun Seong, LG Philippines Managing Director, shared his excitement about the event and introduced the new refrigerator lineup.
“LG’s newest refrigerator lineup that comes with the auto ice maker – designed for fresh food, cool drinks, and smarter living. This innovation brings convenience and efficiency to your home.” he said. “We are committed to making life better, and we are excited to share this with you today. “The LG Auto Ice Maker is designed to make life easier by providing a steady supply of ice whenever you need it,” Mr. Yap explained. “It’s all about adding convenience to your daily routine, whether you’re hosting friends or just relaxing with a cool drink after a busy day.”
The main attraction of the event was LG’s Auto Ice Maker feature, present in all the latest refrigerator lineup, with the French door models delivering up to 96 ice cubes a day.
The LG 23.8 cu.ft French door refrigerators are designed for everyday convenience. They also come with Linear Cooling™ and Door Cooling™ to keep food fresh longer. TheInstaView™ feature found on one of the two models stands out by allowing you to check inside without opening the door, as well as Hygiene Fresh+, the latest generation of LG’s feature that absorbs odors and keeps bacteria at bay.
The LG 12.7 cu.ft bottom freezers feature a sleek flat door design, making them ideal for modern kitchens. Their compact size offers premium features like Multi-Air Flow, a Fresh Zone, and a Deodorizer. The Prime Silver and Black Mirror finish variants come with Hygiene Fresh for lasting freshness. Meanwhile, one model comes with the InstaView™ feature.
The LG 17.4 and 14.9 cu.ft top freezer designs come with practical features such as Water Dispensers for everyday convenience. Meanwhile, the Spaceplus™ Ice System saves shelf space, ensuring you always have ice for entertaining and more room for storage.
Completing the lineup are the LG 12.7 and 11.9 cu.ft top freezers with advanced Deodorizing Filters to keep odors at bay, offering smart cooling solutions while maintaining a fresh environment.
All models can be easily controlled via the LG ThinQ App, allowing you to adjust settings, monitor performance, and receive maintenance alerts right from your phone — making life at home smarter and more convenient. Together with some members of the media, they demonstrated the art of crafting mocktails with precision, using the steady supply of ice from LG’s innovative feature.
Dimples shared her excitement about the Auto Ice Maker during the demo. “I’m sure these drinks will be a hit! With LG’s Auto Ice Maker, I’ll always have ice ready—it’s so convenient and makes preparing drinks so much easier,” she said. Media and VIP attendees had the chance to taste a selection of expertly crafted mocktails using recipes especially developed by Ian Libang for the event.. The afternoon highlight was another mixology session by Libang who teamed up with LG and brand partners Chingu Cafe, Milkis, and Locally to teach guests how to whip up refreshing cocktails. The crowd was fully engaged, learning fun tricks to elevate their next gathering with refreshing cocktails in an interactive session that perfectly matched the event’s chill vibe.
The experience zones gave everyone a chance to get hands-on with the latest models and discover standout features like the Auto Ice Maker. Adding to the excitement, lucky winners took home sleek and stylish LG appliances from the raffles.
